In my prior role as a regulator I could observe firsthand how policies sometimes work out differently than intended, simply because they don’t take into account how people behave and make decisions in real life situations. That is why I’m dedicated to applying behavioural insights in order to inform and improve policies. At the knowledge center I contribute my practical experience and expertise in behavioural insights to help strengthen the link between academic research findings and their practical application.
I highly care about linking academic research and the practical application of behavioural insights. I also highly enjoy creating these links, especially because it challenges me on an analytical as well as on a creative level.
