What is the National Monitor Financial Worries?
The National Monitor Financial Worries is an initiative by our Knowledge Centre and Money Wise. Every quarter of a year, we determine what causes the most financial worries in Dutch households. The amount of financial worries can differ between individuals. There are also differences between individuals regarding the causes of financial worries: e.g., utility bills, medical expenses, or household spendings. By performing a quarterly measure, we can assess the current financial worries of Dutch households and we can assess the change in financial worries over time.
